CPVCC convenes 8th plenum

VGP – The 8th plenum of the 12 Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee (CPVCC) opened this morning in Ha Noi.

The 223 member body will deliberate on 10-year implementation of the Viet Nam Marine Strategy adopted at the 4^th meeting of the 10th CPVCC, socio-economic performance and state budget in 2018, and socio-economic development plan for 2019.

The Central Committee will also discuss on establishment of sub-committees to prepare for the 13^th National Party Congress and personnel work.

The 8^th plenum is scheduled to close on October 6./.
