Cooperation projects with WTO further financed

VNGOP – Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm agreed on December 17 to give more money to some projects under the Cooperation Program with the World Health Organization (WHO) in the fiscal year 2006-2007.

Accordingly, US $44,000 will be spent in the Project "Infectious Disease Control" to survey the consumption of cigarettes among students and finance the control of injuries in Việt Nam. Another sum of US $5,105 is poured into the Project "Non-infectious Disease Prevention, Mother and Child Health" to promote the treatment of lepers and the workshops on tuberculosis test.
