Congratulatory messages on 57th anniversary of VN-China diplomatic ties establishment

VNGOVNet – On the 57th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950–January 18, 2007), Vietnamese Communist Party General Secretary Nông Đức Mạnh, State President Nguyễn Minh Triết, Prime Minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and National Assembly Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng separately exchanged congratulatory messages with Chinese Communist Party General Secretary, President Hu Jintao, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Wu Bangguo and Premier Wen Jiabao.

On this occasion, Deputy PM, Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm and Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing also exchanged their congratulatory messages.

Vietnamese Ambassador to China Trần Văn Luật, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hu Qianwen, Vietnam-China Friendship Association and the China-Vietnam Friendly Society are reported to have been involved in meetings designed to mark the event./.
