Congratulations to Uzbekistan’s re-elected President

VGP – State President Truong Tan Sang on April 9 cabled a message of congratulations to Mr. Islam Karimov upon his re-election as President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Mr. Islam Karimov has been the first President of Uzbekistan since 1990. On August 31, 1991, he declared the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
