Congratulations to new Singaporean President, parliament speaker

VGP – State President Tran Dai Quang on September 13 sent a congratulatory message to Singapore’s President-elect Halimah Yacob.

On the same day, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan sent her congratulation to Tan Chuan Jin on his election as Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore.

On September 14, Yacob will be sworn in as Singapore's eighth President and first female head of state.
