Congratulations on establishment of VN-Indonesia diplomatic ties

VGP – State President Truong Tan Sang and PM Nguyen Tan Dung on December 30 extended their greetings to Indonesian President Joko Widodo on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Viet Nam-Indonesia diplomatic ties.

The same day, Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan cabled a message of congratulations to her Indonesian counterpart Jusuf Kalla.

Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh also extended congratulations to Indonesian FM Retno Marsudi.

The two countries set up diplomatic relations in 1955 and upgraded the bilateral ties to strategic partnership in June 2013.

Both sides planned to lift up the two-way trade to US$10 billion in 2018 from US$5.6 billion last year./.
