CG 2009 to be held in Hà Nội next month

CG is the annual event which aims at exchanging ideas between the Government of Việt Nam and international sponsors on various fields, reviewing the Government’s implementation of the commitments to the previous meetings.

It is also a good chance to review and refresh cooperative measures between the Government and sponsors worldwide.

Earlier, at the Mid-term CG 2009 on June 8, international sponsors pledged to continue providing more financial assistance to Việt Nam and praised for the country’s macro-economic management competence.

Sponsors committed to a grant US $5.014 billion last year despite the outbreak of the global financial crisis and economic downturn.
