Central city boosts cooperation with foreign partners

VGP – An administration and business delegation from the Romanian city of Timisoara led by Mayor Gheorghe Coriolan Ciuhandu has recently visited Việt Nam’s central city of Đà Nẵng to explore the possibility of forming bilateral cooperative relations.

Mr. Gheorghe said the two cities have great potentials for promising cooperation in various fields, including construction, trade, tourism and education.

When cooperating with Timisoara, Đà Nẵng will have favorable conditions to penetrate into the Western European market.

Earlier, the Đà Nẵng People’s Committee had a working session with Mr. Ranjit Gilitwala, Mayor of the Indian city of Surat, during which the two sides said they will exchange information more frequently and promote their bilateral cooperative ties.

Now, the two-way trade turnover between the two cities stands at around US $15-20 million a year.
