Under the newly-approved decision of the PM, the BGEZ’s development will focus on industry, trade, services, tourism, urban, agriculture and forestry.

By 2025, the Cầu Treo BGEZ will have a population of 50,000 and cover an area of 56,685 hectares, including 465 hectares for urban areas.

According to the plan, by 2015, major functional sectors will be built in an area of around 1,219 hectares.

In this period, some projects will be prioritized, including the construction of a border gate area (about 30 hectares), conjugate house, roads, infrastructure in the Đại Kim industrial park, and afforestration.

To fruitfully exploit the Cầu Treo BGEZ, on October 19, 2007, the PM issued Decision 162/2007/QĐ-TTg which offers numerous incentives in terms of export and import duties, land allocation, and others for investors there./.
