Cầu Tràm IP founded in Long An Prov.

VNGOVNet – Considering the proposal of the Long An Province People’s Committee and recommendations from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the PM allowed on March 9 the establishment of the Cầu Tràm Industrial Park in Long An Province.

The PM assigned the Provincial People’s Committee to direct the Long An IPs Management Board to instruct investors in fulfilling their investment projects, conducting resettlement work, and considering, checking and issuing the investment certificate for the investment projects in the Cầu Tràm Industrial Park under current regulations.

The Cầu Tràm Industrial Park covers a total area of 84 ha, consisting of different functional quarters: industrial production area, warehouses, administrative management quarter, services area, and technical infrastructure system (internal roads, water supply and sewage, electricity network, communication, garbage treating system). Up to now, site clearance and compensation have been carried out in 80% of the IP’s area. This work is expected to be finished in late March 2007. The total investment is worth of VND 300 billion. The investor is the Trung Thành Import-export and Construction Service and Trade Joint-stock Company.
