Cambodia, VN promote solidarity, friendship

At the reception, Commander Yoeung Sokhon, who led the Cambodian delegation, informed the host of Cambodia’s political and socio-economic situation in the past year and affirmed that its achievements were attained thanks to support of Vietnamese people, including those from Soc Trang province.

He hoped that the friendship and solidarity Cambodia and Viet Nam will further develop in the coming time.

He took the occasion to wish local authorities, armed forces and residents a happy new year. 

In turn, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang’s Party Committee Huynh Van Sum expressed his hope that the country will reap further success and bonds between the two countries in general and between Soc Trang and the Cambodian Military Zone 3 High Command in particular will become more tightened.

Mr. Huynh wished that the Cambodian Government will create favourable conditions for Vietnamese nationals working and living in Viet Nam.
