Binh Dinh Tourism Summer Festival 2017 to be held

The festival features many cultural and sporting events, such as a futsal tournament for children, martial arts contests, the 2017 Binh Dinh Golden Chef contest, to select the best local chefs, an art exhibition, the 2017 National Beach Volleyball Championship, a local tourist guide competition, and others.

Tourist numbers to Binh Dinh reached more than 3 million last year, up 22% against 2015. 

The festival will help promote the image and tourism trademark of Binh Dinh province as well as attract more domestic and foreign tourists in the years to come.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien said the festival is one of BinhDinh's efforts to contribute to promoting the new destination for domestic and foreign tourists, the development of tourism infrastructure and local social economic growth.

The event  will run until September 2.
