Bac Giang records more than 300 COVID-19 cases

VGP - The northern province of Bac Giang recorded more than 300 positive cases, according to the Ministry of Health.

These cases have yet been confirmed by the ministry.

Over the past three days, the ministry coordinated with the locality to ramp up testing at all industrial parks, factories and residential areas of workers.

All the newly-detected cases have been isolated before testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 .

The ministry tasked its special working team dispatched to the locality to immediately tighten management of all the workers’ residential areas, especially buildings where many workers stay and no one is allowed to leave these areas.

Viet Nam is experiencing the fourth wave of local transmission with 2,505 cases documented in 30 cities and provinces out of the nation's tally of 5,561 to date.
