Asia’s biggest wood processing plant ground-broken

VGP – Asia’s biggest wood processing plant was officially ground-broken in the Minh Hưng III Industrial Park, Minh Hưng Commune, Chơn Thành District, the southern province of Bình Phước.

The US $120 million project has the design capacity of 1,000 cubic meters of wood/day and 300,000  cubic meters/year.

The plant is expected to be completed and come into operation in the first quarter of 2012, said Mr. Lê Minh Châu, President of the VRG Dongwha Joint-stock Company.

The company’s input materials will mainly come from provinces like Bình Phước, Bình Dương, Tây Ninh, and Đắk Nông.

All the products will be exported.

VRG Dongwha Joint-stock Company is a joint-venture between Dongwha Holdings Co., Ltd (the Republic of Korea) and the Việt Nam Rubber Group.
