Angola returnee tests positive for COVID-19, total reaches 1,213
VGP – A 22-year old man repatriated from Angola was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on Saturday morning, bringing the total number of COVID-19 patients in Viet Nam to 1,213.

The man, native of the central province of Ha Tinh, took the flight VN8 which landed at Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh on October 20.
He was sent to concentrated quarantine site in Bac Ninh Province upon his arrival. The patient has been treated at Bac Ninh General Hospital.
As many as 1,070 patients have been cleared of COVID-19 while fatalities stand at 35.
The nation is placing 14,064 people under quarantine and medical surveillance, including 209 at hospitals, 12,926 at centralized quarantine camps and 929 at places of residence./.
