Ambassador Sugi Ryotaro – VN’s close friend

Over the past 20 years, Ambassador Sugi Ryotaro has become a close friend of the Vietnamese people through conducting many cultural and charitable activities which have brought about a great spiritual encouragement and practical material assistance to a large number of poor people and disadvantaged families and children in Việt Nam.

President Triết stated that the Vietnamese State and people highly valued the Ambassador’s role in consolidating and strengthening the cooperation and friendship between Việt Nam and Japan.

Ambassador Sugi Ryotaro said that one of major activities during his Việt Nam tour from October 29 to November 4 is to hold the first filmmaking contest for Vietnamese students. The best works will be sent to Japan for the Japan-Việt Nam Student Filmmaking Contest in December, revealed the guest.
