This is the latest guidance of the Ministry of Health as the COVID-19 pandemic is evolving complicatedly and unpredictably in the southern metropolis.

The ministry asked local authorities to conduct COVID-19 testing for them thrice, on the first, third and sixth date during this self-isolation period.

Local authorities are also requested to monitor the health of those people for another seven days.

Those people are requested to minimize contact with others, avoid taking part in mass gatherings, and notify the nearest medical establishments for help if they display such symptoms like fever, coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath, or loss of taste.

The above requirements are not applicable to those from other localities who only go through but do not stop in Ho Chi Minh City./.
