Air quality improvement to be discussed

Talking with the press on March 19 in Hà Nội, Director of UBIFRANCE Trade Agency of the French Embassy in Hà Nội Marc Cagnard said that France wants to develop its trade, industry and technology relations with Việt Nam.

The symposium, sponsored by the French Embassy and the Việt Nam Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, will be an important event in environmental research and Việt Nam-France cooperation, the director said.

The one-day symposium will focus on public transport in Hà Nội and Vietnamese-French cooperation; air quality monitoring and management in Việt Nam’s urban areas and the network of monitoring stations in France.

An assessment of the present situation of air quality in Hà Nội and the reduction of vehicle emissions through the implementation of a sustainable traffic system, solutions to the air quality management and Hà Nội’s public transport will also be discussed at the event./.- VNA
