2018 Hue Festival to be held

Themed ‘Cultural heritages with integration and development – Hue: a destination with five heritages’, the event is an opportunity for Vietnamese people and international friends to understand more about Hue royal and traditional artistic cultural quintessence.

Diverse activities such as outstanding artistic performances, exhibition, traditional boat racing, gastronomy festival, calligraphy, fair and seminar will be held during the event.

In addition, the tenth festival will introduce the quintessence of Vietnamese culture and arts, particularly Hue’s cultural heritages and the intangible cultural heritages of humanity recognisedby UNESCO.

The event will also contribute to the socio-economic and tourism development of Thua Thien – Hue province during the process of international integration.

The biennial Hue Festival creates an opportunity for countries to exchange their culture, enhancing their international cooperation.
