The Prime Minister made the call while addressing a meeting with the FDI enterprises and the annual Viet Nam Business Forum in Ha Noi on March 19.

The event attracted the participation of Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung, World Bank Country Director for Viet Nam Carolyn Turk, and representatives from domestic and international corporations, businesses and associations.

Many reputable international organizations have released reports hailing the prospects of the Vietnamese economy. ADB forecasts Viet Nam's growth in 2024 at 6 percent, HSBC at 6.3 percent; Standard Chartered Bank at 6.7 percent; and S&P at 6.8 percent.

The Southeast Asian nation has become a big FDI magnet, attracting nearly US$36.6 billion in 2023, up 32.1 percent against the previous year.

By the end of February this year, over 39,500 valid projects, worth more than US$473 billion, have been carried out in the country.

Prime Minister Pham expected that international organizations and development partners will continue sharing information and providing policy recommendations for Viet Nam, focusing on prioritized areas such as green transformation and digital development.

He also called for financial and technical support and assistance from international organizations and development partners for Viet Nam in effectively using green financial resources and in developing human resources, especially high-quality labor force serving key economic sectors and important and emerging fields.

Viet Nam commits to guarantee the legal and legitimate rights and interests of businesses in general and FDI ones in particular and ensure energy stability towards green transformation, and develop green transformation ecosystem, digital economy, and digital transformation, he affirmed.

Pham also reiterated that the Vietnamese Government commits to creating favorable conditions for domestic and foreign investors with the spirit of "harmonious interests, shared risks"./.
