President Putin: Viet Nam remains Russia’s trusted friend and partner

Party leader Nguyen congratulated Putin on his re-election as President of the Russian Federation for the 2024-2030 tenure with a record of the vote in the modern history of the Russian Federation, which indicates Russian people's trust in and support for President Putin.

Nguyen extended his deepest sympathies and condolences to President Putin, Russian people and families of the victims of Moscow-area concert hall terrorist attack that occured on March 22.

He expressed his appreciation for Russia's great support and assistance, emphasizing that Viet Nam considers the comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia one of the top priorities in its foreign policy.

President Putin affirmed Viet Nam is always a trusted friend and partner of the Russian Federation and hailed the positive developments in the Viet Nam-Russia relations.

The two leaders discussed and agreed on major orientations to further strengthen bilateral ties in such fieds like security-defense, economy, trade, culture and tourism among others.

On the occasion, Nguyen invited President Putin to soon visit Viet Nam and the latter accepted the invitation with pleasure./.
