The Government chief made the order at the 3rd national forum on development of digital technology enterprises held on Sunday.

Pham, who is head of the National Committee for Digital Transformation, also urged inferior levels to step up investment in building data on Vietnamese cultural traditions, heritages and tourist sites in favor of the development of cultural industry and tourism.

Ministries, agencies and localities need to quickly develop and put their data systems into operation, Pham ordered.

He underscored the importance of digital human resource as digital Government, digital economy, and digital society could not develop without digital citizens.

State agencies must focus on building mechanisms, policies, planning schemes, and strategies conducive to the development of digital technology enterprises, said Prime Minister Pham.

Viet Nam is home to 64,000 digital technology enterprises with total revenue estimated at more than US$135 billion in 2021, according to Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister of Information and Communications./.
