More assistance for trade promotion activities

VGP – The Government will provide 50-100% expenditure for national trade promotion programs, according to the PM’s new decision.

The national trade promotion programs are those based on export orientations, domestic markets, and trade activities in mountainous regions, border areas and islands in line with the socio-economic development strategy for a specific period. 

Trade promotion organizations, under the Government or non-Government, and associations will be able to set up programs while enterprises from all economic sectors will realize them. 

Especially, trade promotion programs in disadvantageous areas like mountainous regions, border areas and islands will be given 100% subsidy. 

The same assistance will be applied to international conferences on exports in Việt Nam, surveys on domestic market, the construction of database on important goods, and short-term training courses on business and retail skills. 

The Government will support 70% of expenditure to such activities as trade information, market research, export promotion in rural areas and industrial parks.

The organization of fairs and exhibitions which display materials and machines for agricultural development and sale programs will be given 50% expenditure./.
