VN announces sponsors for its ASEAN Presidency Year 2010

VGP – Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm, Chairman of the National Committee for ASEAN 2010 on March 12 recognized four major sponsors for Việt Nam’s ASEAN Presidency Year 2010.

The four sponsors are the Việt Nam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), the Bank for Investment and Development of Việt Nam (BIDV), the Military Telecom Corporation (Viettel) and the Việt Nam National Petroleum Corporation (Petrolimex).

The sponsors are allowed to use the logo of ASEAN 2010 for business purposes; appear on the official ASEAN website; and participate in official activities during the ASEAN year. themed “Towards ASEAN Community: From Vision to Action.”

As the chair of ASEAN, Việt Nam will focus on strengthening solidarity and connectivity among ASEAN members, implementing the ASEAN Charter and roadmaps to the ASEAN Community and maintaining the bloc’s role and position in the region as well as in the world.
