PM orders prompt issuance of guidelines for adaptation to COVID-19

Pham made the above order at a virtual meeting held on Saturday between the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control and localities.

He tasked localities to well organize safe repatriation of their citizens who wish to return to hometowns from pandemic-hit areas.

As vaccines remain the key to help the nation adapt safely and flexibly to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government chief called for accelerating vaccine diplomacy.

For domestic vaccine research and production, Pham emphasized that efficacy and safety must be placed first.

Business and production activities will only be resumed if meeting safety requirements issued by the Ministry of Health, stressed the PM.

Forces deployed to assist southern cities and provinces in the fight against COVID-19 should continue to stay on until the end of October when the COVID-19 vaccine coverage is high enough./.
