Private clinics encouraged to join COVID-19 treatment

VGP – The Ministry of Health has urged local authorities to mobilize private medical establishments to join COVID-19 treatment amid spike in daily infection cases.

Local authorities are requested to provide protective equipment and give priority to vaccinating staff of these establishments.

As of 6:00 am on Friday, the national patient tally rose to 133,405, of which 129,622 are locally-transmitted cases recorded in 62 cities and provinces since April 27.

Ho Chi Minh City remains the biggest COVID-19 hotspot with 84,500 infection cases, accounting for over 63 percent of Viet Nam’s national caseload./.
