Thursday’s COVID-19 count reaches 7,594

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 4,773 new infection cases this evening, raising the COVID-19 count on Thursday to 7,594.

The latest patients include one imported case while the rest are domestic infections in Ho Chi Minh (2,877), Binh Duong (738), Long An (320), Dong Nai (166), Dong Thap (142), Ba Ria - Vung Tau (133), Binh Thuan (63), Ha Noi (58), Da Nang (54), Phu Yen (37), Binh Phuoc (35), Can Tho (33), Tra Vinh (18), Hai Duong (10), Thua Thien-Hue (10), Quang Nam (10), Binh Dinh (8 ), Dak Lak (7), Vinh Phuc (6), Thanh Hoa (6), Hau Giang (5), Lang Son (5), Phu Tho (4), Ca Mau (4), Ha Tinh (4), Kien Giang (3), Ninh Thuan (3), Nghe An (3), Lam Dong (2), Dak Nong (2), Ha Giang (2), Bac Lieu (2), Ninh Binh (1), Quang Ngai (1).

Of the domestic cases, 949 were detected in the community.

These new cases bring the national patient tally to 128,413, of which 126,205 are locally transmitted cases.

The ministry reported that 4,323 patients were declared free of the virus and discharged from hospitals, taking the total number of recoveries to 29,006.

To date, Viet Nam has administered 5,321,839 vaccines doses, with 496,630 people fully vaccinated, according to the ministry./.
