VASMIE is a non-governmental organization attracting the participation of organizations, individuals and enterprises engaging in industrial production and business.

At present, VASMIE is proud of a membership of 1,500 enterprises operating in 25 different sectors, creating 22.5% of the country’s GDP, and generating jobs for millions of laborers.

According to Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyễn Cẩm Tú:  When Việt Nam deeply joins in the international integration, the competition among domestic and foreign enterprises becomes more severe. So, enterprises should unite each other in order to increase their competitiveness. VASMIE will be a gathering of SMEs in all economic sectors, coordinate the operations of its members, provide information and services to its members, and protect their legitimate interests.

The first congress of VASMIE was organized this morning in Hà Nội.
