Tuesday’s COVID-19 tally reaches 4,795

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 2,640 infection cases this evening, raising the total COVID-19 count on Tuesday to 4,795.

The number of daily new COVID-19 cases from July 1-20

The latest patients comprise five imported cases and 2,635 domestic infections in Ho Chi Minh City (1,803), Binh Duong (422), Dong Nai (82), Dong Thap (60), Long An (46), Ha Noi (40), Da Nang (29), Phu Yen (27), Can Tho (23), Ninh Thuan (22), Khanh Hoa (15), Binh Thuan (14), Kien Giang (12), Nghe An (8 ), Dak Lak (8 ), Bac Ninh (4), Binh Dinh (3), Hung Yen (3), Quang Nam (2), Bac Lieu (2), Vinh Phuc (2), An Giang (2), Kon Tum (2), Gia Lai (1), Bac Giang (1), Dak Nong (1), and Lam Dong (1).

Of the domestic cases, 477 were detected in community, according to the ministry.

The above cases bring the national caseload to 62,820, including 59,165 community infection cases recorded since April 27.

The same day, the ministry also announced that 396 patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the total recoveries to 11,443./.
