Health ministry confirms 2,180 COVID-19 cases

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 2,180 new COVID-19 cases this evening, raising Monday’s COVID-19 count to 4,195.

The number of daily new COVID-19 cases from July 1-19

Nineteen out of the latest patients are imported cases while all the others are domestic infections in Ho Chi Minh City (1,539), Binh Duong (288), Dong Nai (80), Dong Thap (47), Long An (37), Khanh Hoa (34), Ha Noi (32), Binh Thuan (19), Phu Yen (16), Can Tho (15), Ba Ria – Vung Tau (11), Quang Nam (9), Kien Giang (8), Binh Phuoc (6), Hung Yen (4), Ninh Thuan (4), Quang Ngai (3), Tra Vinh (3), Binh Dinh (2), Dak Nong (1), Hai Phong (1), Ninh Binh (1), Bac Ninh (1).

Of the domestic cases, 1,990 were detected in quarantine camps or lockdown areas.

The above cases bring the national caseload to 58,025, according to the ministry.

The ministry announced that 380 patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the total number of recovered cases to 11,047.

It also reported 80 futher fatalities related to COVID-19, sending the death toll to 334.

To date, Viet Nam has administered 4,283,906 COVID-19 vaccine doses, with 306,475 people fully vaccinated./.
