Health ministry confirms 87 new COVID-19 cases

VGP - The Ministry of Health confirmed 87 community infection cases of COVID-19 on Saturday morning, raising the national patient tally to 6,657.

The latest cases were recorded in Bac Giang (57), Bac Ninh (27), Bac Lieu (one), Gia Lai (one), and Ha Noi-based Cancer Hospital (one).

Among the aforesaid localities, Bac Lieu and Gia Lai became the latest provinces hit by the fourth wave of COVID-19 resurgence.

Bac Giang and Bac Ninh remain the biggest COVID-19 hotspots in Viet Nam with 1,881 and 736 cases, respectively./.
