Three new local COVID-19 infections take national tally to 2,053

VGP – Viet Nam confirmed three new community infection cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday morning, raising the national patient tally to 2,053.

All the latest patients are female residents of Quang Ninh’s Dong Trieu Town.

They are being treated at the Viet Nam-Sweden Hospital in Uong Bi City.

Due to the surge of local infections, the Ministry of Health encouraged citizens to follow its 5K (in Vietnamese) message: Khau trang (facemask) – Khu khuan (disinfection) – Khoang cach (distance) – Khong tu tap (no gathering) – Khai bao y te (health declaration).

The Government on Monday allowed pandemic-hit localities to consider imposing strong measures to effectively contain the spread of the virus./.
