Rescue forces discuss ways to access to the Rao Trang 3 hydropower plant project as rising flood waters and landslides slow down access to the area

They include 17 workers who are being trapped by debris of landslide that occurred on the evening of October 12 on the construction site.

The others comprise officials and soldiers who were dispatched to the plant to search for and rescue the missing workers.

Local authorities on Tuesday sent more specialized vehicles and excavators to step up the ongoing rescue efforts but rising flood waters caused by heavy rains have made it difficult for them to access the area.

Severe floods and landslides trigger by heavy rains over the past days throughout the central region have left at least 20 dead and 14 others missing./.
