VN Support Industry Show 2020 to be held

VGP - The Viet Nam Support Industry Show 2020 and the METALEX Viet Nam 2020 will be held online from October 23-24.

This year, Reed Tradex Viet Nam has cooperated with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Ho Chi Minh City, Investment & Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) and the Ho Chi Minh City Centre of Supporting Industries Development (CSID) to introduce “Supporting Industry Show 2020” within the virtual “METALEX Viet Nam 2020” to strengthen the long-term relationship between the supporting industries of Viet Nam and Japan.

Participating firms will have a chance to meet Japanese partners that want to seek suppliers in Viet Nam, join a symposium and enjoy technological performance.

Chief Representative of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) in HCM City Hirai Shinji described Viet Nam as the second attractive destination for Japanese companies which are operating in foreign countries and planning to expand operation. A number of Japanese firms also plan to shift their operations to Viet Nam, he said.

Head of the investment promotion office of the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) of Ho Chi Minh City Le Thanh Phong said the event holds significance for firms operating in the manufacturing and support industries, enabling them to access the latest modern equipment and improve product value.

With the combination of METALEX Viet Nam and Supporting Industry Show 2020 the joint events will be a comprehensive destination for the manufacturing, metalworking and supporting industry community.

In addition, a Vietnamese – Japanese matchmaking event will be happening at Hotel Nikko Saigon during two show days with various activities such as tailor-made business matchmaking programs, technology showcases, seminars, business consultancy, and others./.
