French expert becomes latest COVID-19 case

The woman, aged 57, landed at Noi Bai International Airport on September 19 on flight EK394 from the United Arab Emirates’ Dubai.

She is being isolated and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

The same day, the National Steering Committee also reported that two experts from Chinese Taipei have been cleared of COVID-19, raising the number of recoveries to 1,022 out of the patient tally of 1,097.

They are patients numbered 1,075 and 1,076, who have received treatment at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

At present, as many as 16,363 people are being placed under quarantine and medical surveillance, of whom 263 at hospitals, 11,551 at concentrated camps and 4,549 at places of residence./.
