Deputy PM, FM Minh signs condolence book on demise of Kuwaiti Emir Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber

VGP – Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, on behalf of Vietnamese State and Government leaders, visited the Kuwaiti Embassy in Ha Noi and signed a condolence book on the demise of Kuwaiti Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Minh wrote that Viet Nam always bears in mind and treasures the fine sentiments and great contributions of Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to consolidating and advancing the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

On behalf of the State, Government and people of Viet Nam, Minh extended the deepest condolences to the Royal family, Government and people of Kuwait, expressing his belief that the Kuwaiti people would soon overcome this hard time.

Earlier on October 1, Party General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong sent a message of condolences to new Emir of Kuwait Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah over the death of Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc offered sympathies to his Kuwait counterpart Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah.
The same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also extended condolences to Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah.

Kuwaiti Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah passed away on September 29 at the age of 91./.
