Da Nang: Last COVID-19 patient discharged from hospital

VGP – The last COVID-19 patient in the central city of Da Nang was declared clear of the virus and discharged from hospital on September 23.

Da Nang is now free of COVID-19 patients

The patient is a 56-year old man and has received 39-day treatment at the city's Hoa Vang field hospital.

He will be medically isolated at place of residence over the next 14 days.

Da Nang - Viet Nam's biggest COVID-19 hot spot - has gone 26 days without recording new COVID-19 infection case in the community.

At national level, September 23 marked Viet Nam's 21st day with zero new COVID-19 infection case in the community.

Of the country's total of 1,068 COVID-19 patients, 981 have recovered and 35 others died of the virus and other underlying health conditions./.
