Aikya Pharma provides over one million masks for COVID-19 fight

The above figure is part of the group’s support package that will offer over one million masks free of charge for the pandemic fight.

Over past weekend in Ha Noi, Medical Biomaterial and Pharmaceutical Joint Stock company - Mebiphar (under AIKYA PHARMA Pharmaceutical Group) awarded the State Presidential Office 30,000 Mebiphar 3D Maks masks and nano silver masks.

On behalf of the Office of the State President, Le Xuan Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and acting head of the Office’s Department of Administration-Finance appreciated and praised Mebiphar Pharmaceutical and Medical Biology Joint Stock Company - AIKYA PHARMA Pharmaceutical Group has taken many practical and timely actions to join forces with the whole country to focus on COVID-19 outbreak prevention.

Khanh said that this is the second time, the President's Office has received medical masks from AIKYA PHARMA Pharmaceutical Group, pledging that the medical supplies will be distributed to those in need.

Previously, in February 2020, when the first Covid-19 outbreak broke out in Ha Noi, the group quickly provided 20,000 3D masks and medical masks, accompanying the State President Office in epidemic prevention.

It is known that during the many months of the COVID-19 outbreak, with the responsibility of a pharmaceutical and medical supplies manufacturing unit, Aikya Pharma has been at forefront on the fight against outbreak by providing medical supplies to many hotspots in Vinh Phuc, Da Nang, Quang Nam, and the Mekong Delta provinces.

Luong Hong Quang - President of the Office's Trade Union cum Head of the Office's Emulation and Reward Department highly appreciated the quality of masks produced by Mebiphar, expressing his hope that the group to continue to support the production and supply of masks for school children.

Dinh Anh Hao - Deputy General Director of Aikya Pharma said: “This is a time when we all need to support each other. In the first week of August, Aikya Pharma organized three phases of donations of masks and medical equipment for reporters working in Da Nang, Da Nang General Hospital, Tu Quang Nam General Hospital among others.”

Aikya Pharma committed to accompanying and supporting free medical supplies to contribute to the prevention of COVID-19 outbreaks come back, he added./.
