Passengers were mostly children aged below 18, the elderly, pregnant women, the sick, workers whose labor contracts expired, those without residences and other especially disadvantaged cases.
Upon arrival, the passengers were medically checked and quarantined in accordance with the current regulations on COVID-19 responses.
So far, Viet Nam has arranged 105 rescue flights to bring home 26,659 citizens stranded abroad due to COVID-19./.
