VN repatriates 520 citizens from RoK, Taiwan

VGP – More than 520 citizens flew home from the Republic of Korea and Chinese Taipei on Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Of these, 230 landed at the Can Tho International Airport while the others arrived at the Cam Ranh International Airport.

The passengers include children aged below 18, workers with expired labor contracts, and students whose dormitories have been shut down due to COVID-19.

Upon arrival, all the passengers and crew members were quarantined immediately in accordance with current regulations on COVID-19 response.

So far, Viet Nam has arranged 104 rescue flights 26,319 citizens stranded abroad due to Covid-19./.
