Six new Covid-19 cases confirmed, total rises to 847

The latest cases include four residents in Da Nang, one in Quang Nam and the remainder returning from the US.

Specifically, patient 842 is an eight-year old boy from Hoi An city, Quang Nam Province.

He is grandson of Covid-19 patient numbered 774.

Patient 843 is a 65-year old woman from Thanh Khe Distrit, Da Nang.

She is the spouse of Covid-19 patient 800.

The above two patients are being treated at the Medical Center of the Thanh Khe District.

Patient 844 is a 31-year old woman in Cam Le District, Da Nang while patient 845 is a 28-year old woman in Hai Chau District, Da Nang.

Patients 844 and 845 are health workers of the Da Nang Hospital and are being treated at the Da Nang Lung Hospital.

Patient 846 is a 17-year old man from Thanh Khe District, Da Nang.

Patient 847 is a 44-year old man who landed at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport on August 4 on flight OAE423 from the US’s Guam island.

Patients 846 and 847 are being treated at the Cu Chi field hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.

The country’s patient tally includes 399 recovered cases and 13 deaths, said the National Steering Committee./.
