More than 5,000 people under medical surveillance due to COVID-19

VGP – As many as 5,724 people who have been in close contact with COVID-19 patients or returned from the pandemic-stricken areas are under medical surveillance, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

They include 95 at hospitals, 5,347 at centralized quarantine camps, and 282 at places of residence.

As of Sunday, Viet Nam has gone 66 days without new COVID-19 community infection and the patient tally remained unchanged at 349, including 209 imported cases.

The number of recovered cases rose to 327, accounting for 93.7%, the committee said./.
