The country’s patient tally was 325, including 267 recovered cases, unchanged from 6pm on Sunday, said the committee.

The current active cases are being treated at nine central and provincial-level hospitals nationwide, in which the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases houses the most with 25 cases, followed by the Bac Lieu General Hospital with 17 cases.

Of the current patients, the British pilot still remains critically ill and totally dependent on ECMO, said doctors at the Cho Ray Hospital where he is being cured.

As many as 15,412 people are being medically monitored as they have been in close contact with the COVID-19 patients or returned from the pandemic-hit areas./.
