Three patients cleared of COVID-19, recoveries account for 82%

VGP - Three patients cured at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases have been cleared of COVID-19, raising total number of such cases to 263, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control reported.

They are numbered 257, 264, and 270, who will continue to be medically monitored over the next two weeks.

Patient 257 is a 15 year old student from Ha Noi’s Me Linh District, who was hospitalized on April 9.

Patient 264 is a 24 year old woman from Ha Noi’s Me Linh District, who was hospitalized on April 13.

Patient 270 is a 22 year-old woman from Yen Dung District of the northern province of Bac Giang, who was hospitalized on April 24.

As of Monday morning, Viet Nam had 320 COVID-19 patients, including 180 imported cases who were quarantined immediately after returning from foreign countries.

At present, as many as 10,962 people are being quarantined due to having been in close contact with announced infected cases or from the pandemic-hit areas, the steering committee said./.
