One more COVID-19 patient exits hospital, total recovered cases rise to 233

VGP – One more COVID-19 patient has been cleared of COVID-19, raising total recovered patients to 233, according to the Central Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The latest recovered case is male patient number 265, who have been treated at Cau Treo Border Area General Hospital in the central province of Ha Tinh. C

The man, aged 26, returned from Thailand through Cha Lo Border Gate in Quang Binh Province on March 23. He was immediately taken to a centralized quarantine facility in Ha Tinh’s Thach Ha District.

He was tested for the first time on April 8, confirmed having the virus on April 12, and hospitalized on April 13.

This is the last patient released from the hospital.

As of 6 pm on Thursday, the patient tally remained unchanged at 271, including 130 imported cases.
