One recovered COVID-19 patient tested positive again, patient tally remains unchanged

VGP – Patient numbered 151, who had recovered from COVID-19, has tested positive for the virus again, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said on Wednesday morning.

Patient 151 is the spouse of the previously-announced COVID-19 patient (No. 207).

Both of them were released from hospital and continued to undergo 14-day home isolation.

However, her husband (patient 207) was tested positive again on April 27 so the pair were sent back to Cu Chi field hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.

Earlier, the steering committee also reported that other three recovered COVID-19 patients numbered 207, 224 and 151 were also rehospitalized after they tested positive for the virus again.

Viet Nam has confirmed no new COVID-19 infection case for the last 13 days, keeping the patient tally at 270, of whom 130 were imported cases.

As many as 42,057 people have been medically monitored, including 323 at hospitals, 6,643 at centralized camps and 35,091 at places of residence./.
