Five more COVID-19 patients recover

VGP – A 20-year old Danish woman was among five patients recovered and exited the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases Saturday, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said Saturday afternoon.

Five patients recover from COVID-19 and exit the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases on April 25

The Danish woman, confirmed patient 167 in Viet Nam, was hospitalized on March 24.

The rest include four residents of Ha Noi. Patient 195  is a 41-year old woman from Hoang Mai District, hospitalized on March 30. Patient 253 is a 41-year old woman from Me Linh District, hospitalized on April 7. And patient 258 is a 47-year old woman from Me Linh District, hospitalized on April 8.

The last patient, numbered 176, is a 38-year-old woman from Hung Ha District of the northern province of Thai Binh, hospitalized on March 28.

As of 5 pm on April 25, the COVID-19 patient tally in Viet Nam reached 270, of whom 225 have been cleared of the virus and exited hospitals.

The current 45 active cases are being treated at 6 hospitals across the nation, including 6 patients at provincial hospitals and 2 patients at district-level hospitals.

Earlier the same day, the Steering Committee said there were five patients, who recovered  from COVID-19, have tested positive for the virus again. These patients are numbered 36, 52, 136, 149, and 188./.
