Vietnam, Turkey extend range of subjects enjoying visa exemption

VNGOVNet – Vietnam and Turkey on January 26 signed an agreement to exempt visas for the holders of diplomatic, official and special passports. The deal was signed by Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyễn Phú Bình on behalf of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Government, and Mr. Yahya Akkur, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Vietnam.

The Agreement will come into force 30 days after the two sides have informed each other of their completion of legal procedures concerned. The Agreement is to replace the Agreement on visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders signed on June 11, 1998.
