111 legal documents abolished

VGP – The Government and the Prime Minister have issued Decrees and Decisions on eliminating 111 legal documents.

Specifically, at Decree No. 05/2020/NĐ-CP, the Government has abolished 40 legal documents, including:

-36 Decrees: Decree No. 12-CP dated December 1, 1992 regulating the management of Vietnamese delegations going abroad and foreign delegations entering Viet Nam; Decree No. 81-CP dated November 23, 1995 detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of Articles of the Labor Code regarding disabled laborers; Decree No. 06-CP dated January 21, 1997 on the settlement of wages and benefits for public servants, administrative and public service officials, those in retirement, armed forces and other social beneficiaries, Decree No. 34/1999/NĐ-CP dated May 12, 1999 stipulating the issuance of Government bonds for the national construction. 

-2 Decisions: Decision No. 64B/HĐBT dated September 12, 1981 on adjusting the administrative boundaries of districts and communes having inappropriate boundaries and Decision No. 134-HĐBT on the issuance of treasury bills for the construction of the 500kV North–South transmission line. 
Decree No. 05/2020/NĐ-CP also eliminates part of Decree No. 79/2011/NĐ-CP dated September 5, 2011 and Decree No. 136/2018/NĐ-CP dated October 5, 2018. 

At Decision No. 01/2020/QĐ-TTg, the Prime Minister has abolished 71 legal documents, including:

-58 Decisions: Decision No. 10/TTg dated January 9, 1993 on the collection of national reserve rice debt, Decision No. 75/1998/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 1998 on the code numbers of tax payers, Decision No. 143/1998/QĐ-TTg dated August 8, 1998 on amending the export and import tax sectoral, Decision No. 178/1998/QĐ-TTg dated September 19, 1998 on the bank loan interest rates in support of several export goods items and Decision No. 67/1999/QĐ-TTg of March 30, 1999 on a number of banking credit policies in service of agricultural and rural development. 

-13 Directives: Directive No. 15-CT dated January 11, 1988 on strengthening State reserves, Directive No. 06/2007/CT-TTg dated March 28, 2007 on the application of urgent measures to ensure food hygiene and safety, Directive No. 01/2008/CT-TTg dated January 8, 2008 regarding a number of measures to develop and manage the real estate market, Directive No. 11/2008/CT-TTg dated March 24, 2008 on the implementation of the Law on Amnesty and Directive No. 20/2008/CT-TTg dated June 23, 2008 on enhancing the management of the securities market.
