According to the MoH, the program aims to modernize medical staff, promote the use of information technology, and enhance capacity building and administrative reforms in the health sector.

The program’s computers will be installed with copyright software.

In addition, customers can register for high-speed ADSL and enjoy free connection and a 50% discount on monthly subscription fees.

Intel will work with the MoH and other partners to build a model of IT application in a local clinic and to provide training courses on IT and telecom services to 1,000 medical workers nationwide.

To date, operations of all central-run healthcare systems, including Ministry’s affiliated agencies, health centers, universities and health departments in 63 provinces, have been computerized.

The health sector has its own e-portal, while all medical universities and colleges are equipped with the Local Area Networks, Internet connection and websites.
